Dr. Zhiwei Song is an Associate Partner and Project Executive of IBM.

With his twenty-four years’ extensive experiences, Zhiwei led successfully large-scaled comprehensive IT system transformation projects for leading financial organizations in Europe and in Asia, such as ABN AMRO bank, Rabobank, AG insurance, FISC financial center. His leadership competency and Subject Matter Expert capability in Project Management (PMP certified in 2005) of Software Developments, Testing (ISEB certified in 2009) and Process Improvements (mastery of CMMI, Agile) are fully acknowledged by IBM, as well as by customers worldwide.

In his social engagement, as the founder of the Association of Chinese-European Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ACEIE), Zhiwei heads an advisory group of professionals and builds bridges linking up European startups/companies and Chinese partners. In three years’ time, ACEIE not only supported 20+ startups/companies to set up their enterprises in China, but also established strong business networks both in Europe and in China.

Zhiwei is frequently invited by business and technical organizations as a writer, a keynote speaker and a trainer in his professional field and beyond, such as innovation, sustainability, culture differences, talent management, etc., as well as a referee for international journals and a jury of the scientific committee for international conferences.

Prior to ACEIE, Zhiwei was the President of the Association of Chinese Professionals in Belgium (ACPB) and the Executive Chairman of the Federation of Chinese Professional Associations in Europe (FCPAE).

Zhiwei obtained a PhD in Parallel Computing and a Master degree in Irrigation Engineering at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium, and a Bachelor degree in Hydraulic Engineering at Tianjin University in China.

同时，宋志伟博士也是美国国际商业机器公司（IBM）合伙人。宋志伟博士在大型和复杂项目管理（2005 年通过PMP 认证）、软件开发、测试（2009 年通过ISEB 认证）和流程改善（精通CMMI、Agile）方面的领导能力和主题专家能力得到了IBM 和全球客户的充分认可。 凭借20 多年项目执行的国际经验，宋志伟博士成功为欧洲和亚洲的银行巨头管理了大型综合IT 系统现代化项目。

宋志伟博士以其非凡的专业精神和广泛而深厚的学识，在工作中、在华人社区和欧洲社会赢得了崇高的尊重和声誉。欧洲和中国的专业机构时常邀请宋志伟博士担任创新、可持续性、文化差异、人才管理、项目管理、软件开发、测试等各个领域的撰稿人、主讲人和培训师，以及国际期刊的审阅人和国际会议科学委员会的评委。
