1990-1998 worked as a senior technical specialist with a UK based world leading technology company and 1999-2003 as a senior professional manager with a Global Fortune 500 company.

2003-2005 worked as the managing director for China-UK Innovation Park proposed by China and UK science and technology ministries.

The founder and managing director of August International Ltd, established in the UK in 2005 to research telehealth technology in collaboration with universities in UK and China.

The company has recently been focusing on development A Mobile IoT Telehealth and Telemedicine Scheme which consists of the world first mobile IoT vital sign monitor watch and a cloud telehealth and telemedicine platform, with Low Power Wide Area Network telecommunication technology applied. 

The scheme can help disease prevention, self-management of chronic conditions, freeing hospital beds and reducing readmission rates. More importantly, the scheme will provide a game-changing approach for digital transformation of delivery of healthcare services worldwide.

China CCTV has reported a project serving elderly care customer in China. A model of IoT vital sign monitor has been granted a title of Excellent Product by China national Xinhua News Agency.

The products of August International Ltd have been selling in international markets in Europe, USA and Japan, elected as The Best New Technology Product by the popular newspaper <Times> in UK and selected by Olympic Games as a specially invited product supply partner.

Dr Zhou is a holder of 3 invention, 10+ utility model patents and author of 10+ technical and management papers, elected as a “Top 10 Chinese Economic Elites of the 4th Round” in 2010 and 《Top 100 Excellent Entrepreneurs- Chinese》in 2012 and attended ceremonies of 60 and 70 anniversary of China National Day and the World Anti-Fascist Victory in Tian An Men Square Beijing.

1990-1998英国国际知名技术公司高级技术专家,1999-2003全球500强企业高级职业经理人。

2003-2005主持和领导中英两国政府科技部联合倡导的“中英科技创业园”的筹建和运行工作。

2005 在英国创建奥科斯公司, 长期和英中两国大学合作研发远程健康技术。

近年致力物联网人工智能远程健康解决方案产业化。方案包括国际领先自主知识产权的移动物联网健康和安全监测手环和全球远程健康监护云平台。解决方案具有健康管理数字化和智能化特征, 在慢性病自我管理、释放医院病床、降低病患再入院率、疾病预防和提高生活质量等功能。在智慧康养, 智慧社区和加速全球医疗保健服务数字化转型等领域具有广泛的应用前景。央视新闻联播对其产品和技术用于中国智慧社区养老示范项目进行过专题报道。新华社授予了移动物联网远程健康和安全手环<了不起的国货>品牌称号。
